Drama Classes start Thursday and Saturday

Classes start this Thursday after school from 3.20 pm and Saturday morning from 9.30 am.

Our creative lessons and activities are carefully devised to best meet the needs and interests of children.

Children will be challenged to extend themselves as creative thinkers, learners and performers as they explore the elements, techniques and conventions of drama.

Here's a bit about what each class will be getting up to. We think the kids will have a lot of fun!

Starbursts

Our Starburst session is jam packed with imaginative action and learning!

Each week we will continue exploring movement/mime, voice, role play and characterisation through stories, poems, rhymes & songs.

Phonics, brain gym, listening skills and gross motor development will continue to be woven through our programme.

Children will grow in oral communication and confidence as they interact and share their ideas with others.

Particular focal points will be:
  • Using puppets to create conversation.
  • Collaborating to devise a group poem and movement to complement.
  • Using our strong, confident voices to tell stories, begin to understand the nature of narrative.
